In this video, we’ll walk you through the steps to operate your Hunter Douglas UltraGlide system.
To lower the shade, gently pull the wand downward and toward the center of the shade. The fabric will lower. To stop it, pull the wand in the opposite direction away from the shade. To raise the shade, ensure the wand is aligned vertically and use short downward pumping motions. Each motion will incrementally lift the shade. In top-down bottom-up applications, you will notice a second wand, typically located on the opposite side of the shade. The operation is the same. Simply use the corresponding one
to control the top or bottom portion of the shade. If the wand seems stuck
or unresponsive, it’s often just a matter of readjusting your angle slightly to reengage the mechanism and restore smooth operation.
