Yes, patio shades can be cleaned with care. Plan for a nice day and allow the shade to stay down until fully dry.

• Vinyl-coated fabrics can be wiped clean with a soft, damp cloth (microfiber is recommended) to remove dust and other particles.

• Do not use an abrasive or chemical product to avoid damaging the fabric’s protective coating.

• Do not use a hose to spray outdoor shades to avoid getting water directly into the head box.

• Use a soft cloth to wipe the head box and hardware clean if necessary. Mild soapy water can be used if necessary, followed by a clear water rinse.
