Like your garage door opener, wireless window treatment controls use radio signals to send your commands to single shades or groups of shades. A simple, elegant solution to motorized shade control.
Radio signals penetrate the walls of building or houses so you don’t have to be right in front of your shade to operate it like you would with a TV remote using an infrared signal.

Shade control flexibility
Several styles of handheld remotes are available with Insolroll® Motorized Roller Shade systems using Radio Technology Somfy® (RTS).
Somfy handheld remotes can control one to five individual shades or groups of shades.
- Mix and match controls as you wish
- RTS adapts easily to changes in your interior layout–add control points or move them at will.
- Somfy’s “my” function, programs preferred position for shades so they can be easily moved with the touch of a button.
- Build a home automation system gradually. Start with a motorized patio shade, then add interior shades later. If you end up going big, you can also integrate your RTS motorized shades with third-party home automation systems.
Insolroll’s Somfy RTS wall mount switches do not require wiring, making them very easy to incorporate into a motorized shade control system.
Hunter Douglas’ stylish PowerView® Pebble® handheld remotes features radio control with organic shapes and numerous color choices.
Pebble’s round insert sits inside both the the remote and the wireless wall switches.
Its appearance varies with the different PowerView generations, but all new shades will feature the latest version made for the product and options chosen.
Pebble is available in many colors, and the insert is available in white and black. Ask your consultant about the most current color selection.
Standard Pebble Controller Insert
In addition to moving single window coverings and groups of window coverings up and down, the standard Pebble remote also controls:
- Rotate vanes, middle rail, louvers, or slats depending on type of window covering product
- Favorite setting- sends selected window coverings to a preset favorite position.
- Stop: stops a window covering’s movement at any position
- Reverse direction: change window covering direction while it’s moving
- Programming functions
Pebble Scene Controller Insert
Adjust your window coverings automatically so you don’t have to. Base your custom scenes on your schedule, or according to sunrise and sunset time each day, or on-demand with a tap.
- Control via the PowerView App (Apple or Android) or use 2 Pebble remotes- 1 standard and 1 scene controller.
