Innovative Openings awarded 1st Place in International Window Fashions Design Competition
Louisville, Colorado - April 16, 2003 - Innovative Openings, Inc., a Colorado-based window covering and awning retailer & fabricator has been named the Winner in the Window Fashions International Envision Design Award. Innovative Openings received 1st place in the Draperies and Curtain category. Aleece Briggs, Innovative Openings Sales Manager accepted the award at the International Window coverings EXPO in Baltimore, MD on April 2, 2003.
The exciting drapery design was featured at the 2002 Denver Parade of Homes at Daniels Gate. According to Aleece Briggs, “The project was truly a team effort with the help of Laureate Homes, Castle Interiors designer Pam Kelker, Drapery Manager Barbara Talmadge, and the Innovative Openings Installation Team Barry, Chris, and Gary. This project shows the quality of design, quality, and workmanship that Innovative Openings can bring drapery clients. Aleece, Barbara, and Pam put countless hours into creating an innovative design that fit the Colorado theme of the Parade Home.”
Photos of the drapery treatment will be featured in the May, 2003 issue of trade magazine, Window Fashions Magazine. The prestigious design competition included over 100 entries from around the world. Innovative Openings sells a full range of window covering and shading products to the residential and commercial markets. In addition, Innovative Openings services interior designers, architects, and builders throughout Colorado. Innovative Openings has three retail stores in Boulder, Centennial (Denver), and Fort Collins. Each store features an incredible drapery fabric selection and full size window covering vignettes.
Innovative Openings recently completed a 14000 sq. ft. addition to the Louisville, Colorado factory service center. Innovative Openings, Inc. manufactures solar screen shades, blackout shades, rolling shutters, and motorization systems for draperies, wood blinds, roman shade and cellular shades under the Insolroll name. The manufacturing division,Insolroll Window Shading Systems distributes these products through window covering, awning, and door retailers throughout North America. Innovative Openings was started in 1980 by co-owners Dave Friedlander and Rick Pease.
Innovative Openings Expansion
Louisville, Colorado - July 10, 2007 - Innovative Openings, Inc., a Colorado-based window covering and awning retailer & fabricator, announces the expansion plans. A 5000 Sq. Ft. office building at 667 S. Pierce Ave., Louisville CO has been acquired to facilitate future growth. According to co-owner Rick Pease, “Plans have been approved to add a 6000 Sq. Ft. warehouse to the office building. The new 11,000 Sq. Ft. facility will house the Innovative Openings corporate offices, professional account sales staff, and service department.?
