The drapery business has seen many changes over the past 10 years, with a new category of Alternative Drapery Solutions and new child safety requirements revolutionizing Roman Shades.  Innovative Openings offers a full selection of these new alternative drapery products, motorized drapery tracks and roman shades.

Effective October 1, 2011, Innovative Openings is phasing out of the traditional custom drapery and valance business due to challenges we have seen with fabric availability and fabrication lead-times not meeting our service expectations.  We do have a network of drapery specialists and interior designers that we would be happy to refer if you need custom drapery or valance work coordinated with other window treatments or motorization from Innovative Openings.
